During the early 1990s, Kirkland Contracting, a Class "A" Contractor, performed extensive renovation work at the Pentagon, which required adherence to delicate security issues, and we have continued to evolve through various-sized Federal government projects. Kirkland Contracting's commercial base of business continues to expand.
Listed below are some of our finalized interior fit-out projects and a turn-key project. We also perform interior and exterior painting, trim and other commercial services. We have experience with all forms of framing, including steel beams, footings and concrete. When not the GC of our own projects, we also work with larger general contractors, coordinating with their project managers and the other trades involved in the multi-million dollars projects that continue to be inherent to the Washington, D.C. Metro Area.
Other smaller-sized commercial work has included a joint venture addition and renovation of the Passport Office at the British Embassy in Washington, D.C., an F&B Bank build-out in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, and two 3,000 sq. ft. build-outs in Manassas and Burke, Virginia, among other projects.
Additionally, Kirkland Contracting is an authorized dealer/representative of Parkline Building Systems and other pre-engineered metal building systems. Parkline is a major nationwide supplier with over 26 years of experience in manufacturing self-framing metal buildings in width ranges from 5'-4" through 32'-0" with over 60,000 buildings in service.
